It's gonna be a new step added to the AVIATE process.

watch out for that Smokey on your tail. We can put you in the rocking chair if needed. Otherwise it’s clear to the county line!

So that guy was laid off by one of the regionals that shut down in the last year and in order to take care of his family he took a job for the second time since he had to do this before after 9/11. I find many things funny but unless the original poster is this guy making light of his situation then I wish the moderators would take down his picture. How many of us would be on the street if it wasn’t for cares money and the LOA and would be searching for a job like that, if we were lucky.

Easy Tiger. This picture is not making light of anyone. Just a reminder in the eyes of those above we are all widgets. If one thinks the 777 capt is viewed differently from the RJ fo or the bus driver plowing through Eisenhower tunnel think again.

What sucks for the bus driver is that he doesn't have a FO he can make chain up before leaving DEN and heading up toward Eisenhower.

How very thoughtful of you, however that photo was snagged off an add for Schneider Trucking looking for drivers. So up you might want to untwist your panties.

I hope we hire him from whatever job he had to take to feed his family. Seems like a good person.

Hoss and others. I know it’s from an advertisement. I just think it’s in poor taste. It’s a crap deal for a guy twice shafted in the industry and then it seems as if the forum is ready to pile it on. I’m in bottom 1/3. The idea of being a bus driver (not the Airbus) was a little to close reality for me this summer.

I don't see anyone piling on to this poor guy's misfortune. I see someone highlighting just how tenuous pilots' grips are on their jobs and the ALPA contract that makes them worthwhile.
