Concessions 2.0 coming up...

or.....like Andy in Shawshank Redemption......it’s worth it to crawl through that pipe full of shizz, because what’s waiting for you when you make it out is TOTALLY worth it. (Assuming you actually DO make it.....and I know plenty who didn’t.)

Some business decisions are based on economic principles, and some are based on virtue signaling. We can “explore green alternatives” while maintaining old and inefficient mainline and regional fleets and still “save the planet” without actually doing anything.

Another guy thinking he knows how to hedge fuel?! SMH. If we had hedged two years ago, we would have been crushed. As for the electric helicopters, it was a 20 million dollar investment, not 1.1 Billion from those posters that do zero due diligence, as normal. Sensationalism at its finest.

Pre far 117 and the 8 hr overnight (block in to show) in some dump in the middle of nowhere to fly 5 leg 6 hr day with a cat rancher / mentally ill flight attendant and a captain who was too eccentric to get a better gig only to get to do a 10 hr overnight in the butthole of Texas that night... regional flying was really hit or miss but when it missed it would change your perspective of this career.

I agree. You have to be tough if you're going to be stupid. It makes me appreciate what we have and the people we get to work with at almost every level of this company. Nobody expected to be stuck at the regionals that long and every once in awhile you would hear of a normal guy getting hired and it would just stoke your fire just enough to make it seem worth it. I didn't have kids then but I honestly don't think I could have stuck it out if I did. I came close to office spacing a few times.
