The 22 Jan 21 CDC update has CFR at 1.67%.

CDC has 4.6 estimated actual infections to every confirmed positive case. That would make Infection Fatality Ratio 0.36%.

I’ve been looking for this but broken down by age, comorbidities, and both. Do you have a link to that?

60% of all health care workers are either hesitant or refusing to get the vaccine.

911 calls regarding allergic reactions are up over 500% and climbing since the vaccine started rolling out.

People who have had COVID or are anti-gen positive, make up over 80% of the adverse reactions.

And here's my favorite fact.... THE COVID VACCINE DOESN'T PREVENT YOU GETTING OR SPREADING IT. All it does is lesson the symptoms if and when you do contract it.

There will be lots of work arounds for this. There are already websites with QR and VAX letters that you could fill out. Will be next to impossible for a 3rd party to figure out if did or didn't. there will be sites that will get you entered for a fee. Just watch.

I agree the vaccines are under EUA, but that'll change later this year to full FDA approval once they get a few months of confirmed efficacy.

You can be fired, if an employer cannot accommodate the employee that refuses the vaccine into a comparable position where they may perform the functions of the same job remotely. Sorry Charlie, but as an FA or pilot, you either get it or get fired. Show me precedent or any legal wording that counters current employment law, and I'm all ears. Let me save you time, you won't. UAL is just saying this stuff to gain passenger confidence. It will take all the airlines to do this in unison later on. Don't see it happening until late this year at the earliest.

I take it you disagree with the cited reference which says:

#7: Watch for Protected Concerted Activity. Both union and non-union employers should be mindful of Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act, which protects employees’ rights to join together to advance their interests as employees and makes it unlawful for an employer to interfere with or restrain employees in the exercise of those rights. If employees join together to protest an employer’s COVID vaccine program (or lack of a program) and the employer takes adverse action against those employees as a result, it could lead to unfair labor practice charges being filed against the employer with the National Labor Relations Board.

#8: What Does the Collective Bargaining Agreement Say? Unionized employers should examine their collective bargaining agreements to determine the extent of their duty to bargain with the union over vaccine programs. Employers may need to consider whether their management rights clauses should be renegotiated with this in mind. But, even if the CBA gives the employer the right to unilaterally institute such programs, employers may still want to consider at least consulting with the union when developing such programs in order to foster goodwill with the union and to increase employee buy-in.

There you have it.
Is everyone going to line up for this or are there going to be some vacancies as a result? God forbid you want to make a choice for your own body. Nope. We own you.

Yes. If the contract in question has provisions, those will apply. If the contract has no provisions either way, the company can probably do what they want. maybe if you're lucky you'll get an anti-vaxx arbitrator.

But obviously if other countries require it, checkmate. Roll up your sleeve or head over to the bread line.

Probably since I doubt it's been tested on them. Any legit medical reason to not get vaccinated will have to be honored.

That's why the folks advocating vaccine passports for travel are planning on apps that link to databases.

The people with access to the databases will have to be legit providers, and risk loss of license, fines, and prison if they branch out into the medical fraud business.
