Could you elaborate? If you are under 40 it’s once a year. Other than that it pretty clearly states that I need my medical to do my job.

do your pilots under 40 still need a medical every 6 months. Or is the rule just all pilots need to keep a FC medical?

Under 40, only every 12 months. It's just the standard 1st class medical timeline for the age group.

gotcha, didn’t know if u guys had some weird thing going on or if it was as simple as everyone has to have a first class medical

Yeah, it's just that simple. Nothing special here. I guess some of these old farts forget we actually have pilots who fly real airplanes that are under 40

Look up ICAO and EASA rules. Our ops specs are written to the tightest standard we have to abide by, not just the FARs.

Ok... Whatever that means. I was just answering their question about the medical timeline. < 40 yrs old 1st class medical = 12 months at UAL. Nothing special.
