We no longer, “Eat our young”
Middle seniority, captain displacement cxld, Yes voter, never furloughed (‘97 hire)...
I’m not thrilled about the agreement. But, unlike the the last 2 furloughs that I managed to dodge, I finally feel like we are not throwing the junior guys under the bus for a change. The 95 hour LCO lines after 9/11 were the worst. I think this is a fair compromise. Time will be the judge. And beer is ALWAYS on THIS captain.

I have been furloughed by this airline. I think this is a bad deal, not in that it postpones furloughs until June 2021, but in how it does it.
I sadly think this will end up being a big win for Management (and hope that I am wrong).

I wouldn’t go that far. I’ve heard the stories of age, religious and sexual discrimination at Emirates. Not quite the true capitalistic panacea you describe. But i will agree - Dubai is nice.

BTW. I've been furloughed twice by this airline. I was lucky and made more flying overseas than I would have made at UA. That being said, I'd rather have not been furloughed.
