The FAs filing the lawsuit are probably cranky old beotches I would prefer to see working someone else’s flight.

it may not be the norm, but I’m sure you can understand that when seniority is abrogated, in some instances it will devolve into a less equitable outcome.
I think that the charter customer should be able to choose their staff. Especially given how few sh!ts many of our more seasoned flight attenants gave about the customers. That said,
A lot of guys on here lose their mind with the prospect that a pilot was hired based on some thing beside skill/resume. I hope you hold that same standard for other work groups if they are chosen based on something besides merit…

The pilots are staffed using bidding and open time, the flight attendants are not chosen by seniority order. i’ve done a couple charters on a 757 and most were a normal type crew, but one of the college football charters I did were all women under 40.

It would not surprise me to find there is something in their history disqualifying them from the charter side.

This is probably more likely than not. The "preferred" list of attendants the article refers to are attendants that have worked charters, and made good impressions with the teams. As they're paying for the flight, they're allowed to request crews. I've done a lot of charters and this lawsuit is utter BS. I have seen the same attendants before, and was told the team has asked for them by name. Not a single one was "young blonde and white."
It would not surprise me to find there is something in their history disqualifying them from the charter side.

I’m sure they figured it was a good time to pull the race/ethnicity card, with all the BLM crap going on. SMH

some folks don’t seem to understand that dissent and civil disobedience is about as American as it gets. Boston Tea party anyone? The second a group in power wants to silence the claims of other citizens, you should be very afraid.
You break something or throw an object at a cop, you get the sh!t kicked out of you. I think most people are cool with that. But to lump the entire movement into one category is about as dumb as BLM Lumping every police shooting into one category as well

One non-democrat who thinks BLM has been hijacked, but hardly “crap.”
