No worries. Trust me, I've been in your shoes and I know the frustration.

Landing to the East into Gitmo: hard descending bank, close in - AND keep it from drifting over “the fence line”. Supposedly the Cubans would shoot at you if you did...
We were told there’s an old DC-8 or something that is still in the water just south of the field (didn’t have time to take the scenic tour)

Now I hear they have a straight in approach to land East...

Cleared for the visual and landing into KBUF rwy 13 from FL240. Center asked if it was true about the 3 holer that you could start down when the runway went under your nose. He worked it out and cleared us all the way down from altitude.

30 years ago flying freight.
The 727 could come down so fast it would generate a low altitude alert from ATC when you were still 5000' above the ground.

747-400 into Bagram was interesting. Not especially complex but with UAVs and various military ops in the nearby vicinity, it was definitely not your usual visual approach.

Student here and frequent Turnpike commuter--it is always crazy to see the planes crossing over the Turnpike like that. Can you see the drivers looking at you?

I am fortunate to live underneath the approach for 22L/R, sometimes you guys are flying directly over my backyard!

Hope all is well during this crazy time. Safe flying

Most challenging visual approach was best described to me by a junior reserve f/o ....

Heading to DXB ... time for potty break ... He comes out of the lav and looks aft ... All of the curtains were open ... Cabin is now dark with most pax now sleeping or watching movies ... light on in aft galley and he notices an attractive/hot flight attendant looking forward ... He can see her smile and wave so he waves and decides to stroll 150' to the rear to check out this hottie he missed at checkin ...

Of course you probably know how this ended when he got about 20' from the galley ... His introduction to hair dye and heavy cosmetics and bodywork ... He was then challenged with getting out of a situation he had created ... An abort if you will.

Had to explain to him that what he was looking for didn't usually exist on this plane.

Roaring Fork into ASE and having to go missed with the right turn out near that stand alone chunk of granite. 🤢

Any circle with winter winds at night in TEB. 🤮
