And you should learn a bit more history. This problem has been around for all of my 34 years in the industry. We're not going to fix it by fiat. Add in a few recessions, a 9-11, a tech-stock bomb, a Gulf War, another Gulf War, regional airlines who proudly boast and vote to retain their non union bonafides, etc etc. One could argue that it's been a three decade schittstorm. Pilots tend to vote their paycheck, wether they fly at a small outfit or large.

It sucks. It has sucked for a long time. Get used to it. Those lazy mainline pilots just lost a decades worth of momentum.

Nice tie.

The whole industry is going to hell in a hand basket and we still find ways to bicker...amazing.

It's been like this forever and will never change. You may as well get used to it.

Every 10 years or so in the passenger airline world. It’s almost predictable.

Sad but true. Just as the wound heals and the scars disappear another knife makes a deep cut. Glad I got out. Wishing y'all the best and quick recovery.

I’d argue more frequently than that. We’ve just been through what’s possibly the longest continuous good run in industry history.

Even with all the bs/ups and downs... you can’t beat this job.
