You know, apparent sincerity.
It's what the company has done for years. In 30 years I've never seen an on-time contract.

I wondered if anyone would look at it in this manner. So, well done Sir. But, I like to think we've learned a thing or two and the ending might be different this time.

I sure as hell hope so. I'm with you 100% here.

Generally my movie skills are pretty weak, you just happened to pick one that I've seen many many times.

Hey, it didn’t end well for Tommy either, so....

When Scott wouldn't give us a new contract on the amenable date without requiring us to outsource more of our own jobs.... he got a pay cut.

When Scott took away my seat and bumped me all the way back down to the seat I started in... he got a pay cut.

When I and all my brothers and sisters get furloughed... he’ll get a pay cut.

If they want one F’ing dollar back, they can get it from the billions profited by Wall Street in stock buy backs... particularly from PAR and Altimeter Capitol (sound like stupid names of hedge funds from guys that can’t hack it in real cockpit). We (the employees of United) built it, you broke it, you fix it.

Full pay to the last day.

I couldn’t agree more; however, there’s no historical precedence of anything ever truly getting fixed. This is just another round of labor arbitrage cycling through.

There is no “however.” F that. No more carrying managements water. They blew all the money they needed to weather this storm. Those that profited the most can be the first to pony up. I worked for my pay and sacrificed time from my family to build for the betterment of United and my brothers and sisters. The hedge fund Wall Street and management types slept at home every night reaping billions barely doing a fraction of the work, and couldn’t step into our shoes if they tried. They’d kill everyone on board. There is no “but, however, yeah but...” F all of that and get any semblance of ration for concession out of your heads. Those that profited the most, doing the least, can be the first to preserve their cash cow. Zero give, zero concessions. Period F’ing Dot.

Everyone sack up, grab the shoulder of the pilot to your left and right, step off in unison and knock off the BS. Now is the time for intestinal fortitude, if you don’t have it, then be quiet and let those that do charge forward (or find another career). No one is looking out for us, but us.

You are not very original. I know good and well that you stole this. Straight out of the Airline Management Handbook ... page 741 I think.
