True ... I actually had one of our piddleschit senior guys complain about having to pay the assessment ... Yeah ... I told him what I thought. Amazing as the dollar amount per month was nothing.

I was a Captain on 9/11. It was $72 a month. It was totally worth it and I’d pay it again.

Actually, it was only the bus (and maybe the narrow body guys? I don't remember) who took the cut. No reductions for the other airplanes. It wasn't that the MEC got full pay and that everyone else got screwed, it was by aircraft type. That was another stupid thing that we allowed in the contract, that the hours reduction didn't have to affect everyone. If it was all equipment types, it would have been far less painful. I'm senior and I'd do it again in a minute to save the newhires.
