I agree that it’s definitely a step in the right direction and it’s probably also a situation where there could be a breakthrough one day and boom, we’re at 14 flights per week. Or 21 flights per week. Fingers crossed.

You are right. Trending upward is a sign that movement is coming and that is encouraging. Stagnant numbers means...well, no movement. Let's face it, some people are not happy unless they are unhappy. And some people think that if they can't get it all back RIGHT NOW, they are being screwed by the company or the gov't or Trump or somebody. It doesn't matter....they just want it all RIGHT NOW.

I can all but guarantee that when United and Delta furlough, American will too. They are having sunshine blown up their asses but they don't operate in a vacuum. Their early outs and retirements don't equal 30 percent of their list.

nope they don’t, we have a surplus of around 1300 pilots after it’s all said and done. Don’t know where you are seeing sunshine blown up our asses - I I haven’t seen much positivity with all this China virus stuff, but maybe you have.

I think that will negatively impact UAL than any other carrier.

I’ll take that bet. Folks wanna get back to normal. Business must get back,
Specifically with China. I may be wrong but that is one area where there is pent-up demand of a great necessity.
Let’s hope the routes get heavy use soon with no geopolitical issues in the future.

You forget UAL is running 600+ cargo flights a month and from what I hear are more profitable then the pax flights. There isn't a 787 not flying.

That's impossible, I was told there's no money in cargo?
