I agree 100%. I don't wish ill or hard times on anyone ... most people are the same. With 4 hats in the closet (a 5th outfit didn't require a hat) I, like you and many other old dudes, have seen the downside of the industry.

How many Hats are required to have an opinion? I want to make sure I get that many while I’m out on furlough.

the more hats you have, the later your APC “join date” can be, and vice-versa.

Instead of hats, I go with how many pairs of underwear have skid marks in them. I feel that’s more effective in judging the direness of the situation I’m in.

I have a 10% error built in since I’m rationing toilet paper right now.
