I’m getting furloughed and do not hate United. I hate 2020 and the Chinese ruling government that covered this up instead of controlling it. And to a related extent, the animal cruelty that may have led to this outbreak. Twice.
Anyone who thinks United or any other major airline is furloughing because they want to and don’t need to needs a rudimentary math class. Taking this personally is counterproductive under the circumstances. Furlough is going to suck! But I understand why it’s happening. Hopefully I can come back soon. I really liked working here.

I wholeheartedly disagree. SK has options. He just decided that furloughing was the option he wanted to choose. And look, I said it without being condescending. You should try it sometime.
