Add all of the numbers up from the countries in that graphic and it doesn't equal HALF of this country's cases...hmmmmmm.
(Yeah, yeah, those countries are smaller than the U.S., etc, etc). The U.S. is the most infected country in the world. You have to add up the next FOUR countries behind us to find as many cases. (Brazil, India, Russia, Peru) https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html

Surgical masks and N95 masks DO NOT have the same purpose. Surgical masks were designed to keep the wearer from spreading contaminants TO OTHERS. N95 masks were designed to protect the wearer from contaminants FROM OTHERS.

PLEASE, dear God (admins) please shut down this idiotic thread!

...also adding that only the most conservative women in those countries wear either a burqa or niqab. Plus, India being on that list is pure ignorance.

The more accurate question is who actually has the thick skull.

OMG, read the whole warning. The paragraph you did not highlight is the point. It says will not prevent contraction. The point repeatedly stated is that a mask stops/limits YOU from spreading it. When you wear the mask you don’t expel as many droplets. I understand the goalposts have moved repeatedly, but when Trump is now even agreeing to wear a mask, I suspect there is some reliability and value to wearing a mask. Not sure what else to say.

Yeah, but if I stop wearing my mask, I’ll have to shave my goatee when I go to work.

The United States. Not the United State. I wonder how each state would fall in if the US numbers were broken out via state and then compared to separate countries?
