Delta hasn't announced any flight attendant furloughs but sent out 2558 pilot furlough notices.
Delta sent out ZERO furlough notices.

Delta sent out 2,558 WARN Act notices.

Yup.

FA's are much easier to furlough and recall, unfortunately for them.

Warn Act notification is 90 days (NY). Whatever the JCPA says is when you’ll get your notice (hopefully not).

Must be thinking they can get some hefty concessions from the FAs.

Cargo flights don't need FAs.

So now that we know the first (and hopefully last) wave number, how does this affect existing 320 and 737 PI staffing?

There will be some PI's affected unfortunately, but it's shy of where cuts would really start to hurt.

These furlough numbers are based on current revenue projections. As of today. Things could get better or worse.
My hope at this point is that Covid's mortality rate takes a nosedive in the coming months which would likely help air traffic considerably.

very little affect only 1 on the 320. 737 will still take a hit but it will be manageable.

How many pilots vs FA’s to staff a wide body?
