Default Zip it children and focus

Had Covid for the last week. Then my 10 year old (really bad), then the missus who will likely go hospital soon because she is asthmatic and breathing getting worse. Now my 12 year old is heading downhill.

Looks like a lot of our brothers and sisters will get furloughed this week including myself.

So when you all are done moaning like school girls remember this:

DEAD PEOPLE DONT HAVE POLITICS and the nearly dead sure as hell don’t care about it either.

focus on the furlough and supporting each other and our union.

You're absolutely correct of course!

I'm really sorry to hear about you and your family! Take good care of them (and yourself) and I hope you all have a quick and smooth recovery. You probably have a local support system, but in case you don't - please know that damn near everyone on this thread will be lining up to help in spite of all the bickering you read! I don't know where you live, but I'm in eastern NC if that's helpful!

I certainly think some very small, precisely targeted asteroids would have accomplished that goal.

its not as bad as it’s made out to be but it’s not good either and does exist.
Sorry, instead of using the term condemn how about denigrating the individual that expressed his concern of the virus to the one who was dismissing it as a mainstream media driven hoax?

We as pilots that are seeing our careers decimated need to be pulling on the same rope and encouraging more people to take this serious and stop blaming politics or the media. It’s not going away no matter how much we finger point or resist. The world has decided that this needs to be taken serious and we are just kinda sitting over here treading water. So yeah, I’d rather see us collectively side with those that take it more serious than those rolling their eyes at this and fighting the course this whole thing is taking across the world.

Even having a wife on the front lines in the ER and hearing how bad of shape our entire state medical system is, a friend of hers that died from the virus and a nanny and her room mates that all have it with no symptoms, I still view it like you. It’s not as bad as some make it out to be, but it is indeed wreaking havoc on our health care system and those on the front lines. And an interesting side note, most of the people my wife is seeing with the virus recently have all been rather young and either bar hoping or getting together with large groups. Everyone of them says “I didn’t take it serious”. FFS people... We are our own worst enemy.

So yeah, are we getting our furlough notices?

Infighting between the pilots are part of the management strategy... We need to keep the eye on the ball and focus on management actions and react to them.

Be strong man. Pretty sure my whole family went through this in the early stages. Keep an eye on the Mrs. though.

Apologies for my tongue and cheek bipolar and woke comments... it was way out of bounds and poor attempt to be funny.

Are we the last Legacy let alone Major that hasn't said jack squat in terms of furloughs or mitigations?
