If this virus was the boogey man everyone said it was in March, we’d all be wondering how we can find the space to bury everyone. But it hasn’t turned out that way.

first I (we) are not going to get furloughed.
it’s not about the protest. It’s about wearing a mask and social distancing.......unless you are protesting. Then shame the people going about their lives as the ones that are killing everyone.

COVID is a virus that recently hit our nation and one that we will hopefully defeat with a vaccine and/or cure. Our country's resources are being expended in an all out effort to make sure that happens. Our airline may, or may not, survive the fallout from COVID; the airline industry has never guaranteed its frontline employees a smooth ride.
RACISM on the other hand is a disease that has infected our country for hundreds of years. Progress on that has been glacial slow, and far too many refuse to believe it is even real. Few resources have been used in this fight, and moments of truth like the ugly ones captured on the recent videos are used to move this critical fight forward.
Yes, we should be fighting both, but ask yourself which one is worse?

then for weeks people stand shoulder to shoulder a lot with out masks.......how does that stop the spread of the virus? They can march through the streets without anyone saying a word but my kids can’t go to school?
someone needs to set some ground rules AND STICK TO IT.....our careers depend on it.

Government mandated closures (bars, restaurants, businesses, churches, schools) and the associated “stay at home orders” are all about seeing how far they (elected officials) can restrict basic constitutional rights before citizens fight back (happening now)... sad part is most people are oblivious that this is even happening. “Slow the curve” was the start and intended for a very short duration... needed time to allow hospitals to prepare/grow capacity and supplies/ventilators to be manufactured... that time ended a month ago.
