On a similar topic, has sick bank been paid out in past furloughs? Or do you use it or lose it?

at my last ALPA carrier when I was furloughed it was use or lose. Vacation is normally paid out, sick time is not.

Since our seniority list has no DOH listed. Does anyone have an approximate DOH from the bottom of the list moving upward every 500 to a 1000 numbers. What number is the first new hire post SLI?

As an FYI using the seniority list retirement program most of our pilots use. Plugging the employee number of our most junior pilot listed on CCS. Here are the age 65 retirements for the next few years. From the remainder of 2020 through 2023 - 1599 retirements.

Yearly Cumulative
2020 242 242
2021 429 671
2022 428 1099
2023 500 1599

Thanks in advance.

They do not pay out sick time when furloughed. When you return from furlough it is still there. So not strictly use it or lose it. Vacation time is paid out.

For a big chunk of the seniority list, there is a good chance that it will be years before its worth more per hour than it is today.
