And why is that? Because the media has got everyone so riled up demanding the govs “do SOMETHING”.

The media has everyone so riled up that demand falls and flights reduced.

Yeah that was because of two things.

The recession.

And more so: Changing the rule from 60 to 65 creating a glut of pilots that wouldn’t be lost due to normal attrition. Without the age 65 change there would have been almost no if any furloughs.

Perhaps its because if the CDC budget hadn't been slashed the Government COULD "do something." What are they going to do without test kits? Heck, the politicians can't even get their stories straight.

they just got $8.3B and as the CDC said. ANY college or hospital lab could test for it. If you want to make it political, blame China.

I don’t know about all this other stuff you guys are talking about but... I was just in Denver and was able to get food and use the restroom without waiting in line. Perhaps we are all doomed.

The CDC’s budget didn’t get slashed. It was proposed in the 2021 budget but hasn’t gone through.

I thought the Apr bidding parameters looked pretty normal, at least for my (nb) fleet.

Well... we are in an election year. Make of it what you wish, but this is fact.

You mean the year that United a started to furlough 1000 pilots.

i know it was because of a recession, like there is no chance of a recession. I guess that is why the Fed cuts rates and stocks are down 20 percent because no one thinks a recession is a real possibility
