Truth of the matter is that the countries you mention are very far from Socialist. Not sure why you included Canada, it barely makes top 10 in that rank.

The problem is that the Nordic model does not scale up. It works really well in countries with around 6 million people. But you can't increase the scale of that model by a factor of 50 and expect same results.
