If they come to the NB, where would one expect to see a Surplus Reduction Line and do you go about getting one?

Better go plant your victory garden and stockpile the bunker. Yes, more storms are heading our way, but it’s not time to build an ark.

They are at the NB. It's now offered for every fleet and seat. Info on how to request one is in the CRU.

I asked you a question. Do you think this is the end of the bad news? And you come back with BS about gardens and arcs?? Ok.

Yes. This is the end of the bad news. This is just a very bad flu virus that will pass in a month or two. If we had hundreds of thousands dropping dead every week it would be a different story. The Coronavirus is not a new virus.

I'm not asking you about the virus. I'm asking you about the bad news coming from the company to the pilot group. I don't really give a **** about corona. Maybe selfish. I care about our business though.

Update: 213 vacancy award cancelations announced since I first asked you if you thought that was the end of the bad news. It's not.

The US economy is resilient. Those that have bet against it in the past have been hurt. If we had been in a recession prior to this happening I would be more concerned. The stock market is forward looking indicator and it isn't indicating the end of the world.

So a vacancy bid was canceled . Big deal. They will be offered again when things get back to a sense of normalcy. No go back to your doomsday bunker. 😆

I guess it's easier to make a joke out of it when it's not your award. I'd try it but would feel like a POS for doing it.

I thought that I did answer the question when I said that more storms are heading our way, so to be clear, no, this isn’t the end of the bad news. We’re most likely looking at low credit lines and no need to pay premium pay since people will scramble for what ever is out there, but I don’t think that we’re looking at a furlough. If this goes on, the older 757 and 767 fleet could be parked, international and domestic frequency reduced, or other temporary reductions, but to furlough the company will need to see no light at the end of the tunnel for years. We’re not there.
