Default Pet insurance through UAL?

Does anyone have any experience with the pet insurance offered by UAL via Flying Together/My Discounts?

I have heard that Nationwide is very competitive. Pros cons?

Thanks.

Reviews seem mixed to negative on Nationwide pet insurance. I don’t think most of those UAL discount deals aren’t all that great, not much off.

Then we get to the idea of pet insurance in general. I’ve never had any interest in it.

Works great for me. I got two dogs a few months back. After deductible they have been paying as promised no issues. That being said, just submitted a large claim for spay/neuter of the two. So I’ll see how quickly $2k is paid back.

I like “healthy paws”. Doesn’t cover preventative care. Very easy reimbursement. Racked up almost $14k in 5 days to save my dog’s life. 90% coverage

How did I know some Norwegian Air customers would post on here about the cost. Sorry, I don’t live in Iowa.

$14,000 to save a dog??? I guess that I’ve just seen Old Yeller too many times. I read an article somewhere about how the cost of vet care skyrocketed when pet insurance became a thing.

To some they are equivalent of children. If my dog could return to a normal life, I’d spend the money.

I guess so. I’m just not one of them. I grew up thinking that pets are just livestock that you let in the house. Sad they’re gone, dig a hole, and then get on with your day.
