Looked into the Nationwide discount. I currently have one of my dogs insured through them and the discount price was actually slightly more than what I am currently paying Nationwide. My other dog is insured through Embrace and we love it. They don't have designated payout amounts for particular injuries like human insurance and other pet insurances. They just pay (in my case) 80% of the bill up to a maximum of $5000/year. We've just used it all up on ACL surgery so my dog is now wrapped in bubble wrap until May when the policy renews.

Go to Flying Together and search pet insurance. This page will pop up:

The Nationwide website gives three tiers. I chose 90% coverage with wellness protection for a female puppy. Coverage begins 4/1/2020.
The only tricky thing is that it said $91.25 per paycheck but it’s actually $91.25 per month. You can drop the wellness protection or lower your coverage at any time.
