I was just on the my discount page and didn’t see any pet insurance companies. Which company do we get a discount on and how do I find it?

I didn’t spend 14k. The hospital stay cost that much. Insurance covered. 1 year old dog with a contagious bacteria infection that was causing liver and kidney failure. The dog is perfectly healthy now. Cost me $80 to adopt. Some people spend 5k on a puppy. Yes my dog was worth it farmer bob.

Glad that your dog is fine. I’m just shocked that one could rack up a $14,000 medical bill on a dog. I’ve never looked into insurance for pets, but my guess is that the rise in the pet insurance business is a major factor in rising vet bills. I probably do have a bunch of “farmer bob” in me since I would simply take the dog out back rather than spend thousands.

Not associated with discount page. It has to do with the benefits they rolled out individually. Home Auto as well as a few other things. Do a search on Flying Together.

Default Pet Insurance

Just got two new pups and was on the fence. If going to do it, key is to get it early before anything in their medical folder so insurance can't deny pre-existing condition. I called the number on Flying Together benefits page to get more info. Make sure you tell them United...they went down a path and I assumed they knew based on phone number but just goes to generic line.

I decided to pull trigger and give it a try (can always cancel if not happy). Was not convinced much price benefit on our discount but the kicker when comparing prices is our price is fixed for life whereas quotes you get for regular, non-United policy can and will go up every year. Paying $66/month for two dogs medical (no preventive care) through payroll deduction. They send you policy right away but told me becomes active as soon as first payroll deduction 1 Mar.

Going to Vet is like going to Costco with my wife...can't get out the door for less than $300. This should cover expenses and one major incident will cover up to $7500 per year (equal to 10 years of premiums). Hope this helps.

My dog broke his leg 2 weeks ago. 5k...really wish I had pet insurance. I found one for under 50 bucks a month that pays 90% of bills and has a 250 deductible. Yeah so I’m telling everyone get pet insurance.

Trupanion. I compared a bunch of plans on petinsurancereview.com and I went by the ratings and price. Wish I had done this 2 weeks ago!
