Thanks for the info. Definitely going to use the vacation pass for the ride home. Coming down was wide open no problems.

The employee's spouse always travels at SA1P on a regular pass or SA0V on a vacation pass.

Other eligible pass riders (i.e. children) travel as SA4P when traveling unaccompanied or SA3V when unaccompanied on a vacation pass. When those eligible pass riders travel accompanied, by either the employee or the employee's spouse, their priority is increased to that of the employee; SA1P/SA0V.

If an eligible pass rider (normally SA4P/SA3V) is traveling "unaccompanied" on a flight on which the employee is a working crewmember, they can travel at the accompanied priority level by checking the box when making the reservation. The employee crewmember should inform the gate agent of this when they board the flight.

Buddy pass riders travel as SA7U when unaccompanied and at the employee's priority (SA1P/SA0V) when traveling accompanied by the employee or employee's spouse. The "traveling with a working crewmember" option only works for buddy pass riders during the holidays on specific dates specified by the company.
