Varies by inflight entertainment system. CCS on Panasonic quit almost two years ago, at least on 767-300s. Company email used to work too. Think it is still no-op.

On the other hand, I was non-revving on a 737 earlier this month, and the Messages app (green icon) started giving messages...it never used to work in flight. I think the 737s use Indigo, but not sure.

CCS, iMessage, Flying Together, Google Maps all work on the 737 wifi.

...That is when the WiFi is working (60% of the time it works every time)

Yeah I have noticed the same ... some airplanes will allow it , others won’t.

If you use the CCS app on the 767-300 it works fine.

When it works, it works on the 777's. The A models seem to allow more connectivity--but drops more often, the B's and 300's work more reliably, if you can call it that. It is so slow as to be almost useless. I've even stopped using it on rest breaks, and expensing it. Just unworkable. And they all stop every time the airplane turns.

I think the A's have the new system turned on.

I’m just happy when the 757 can provide WiFi for our passengers.
