United and JetBlue merger
I spent over 4 years at JetBlue and I finally got on with United. I attended countless job fairs, had my app reviewed twice, networked, volunteered outside of work to get the United interview. According to my JetBlue friends the United merger rumors are pretty strong out there. Any truth to this? I would hate the fact that got hired at United just to lose seniority once the merger happens.

Helpful hint: JB and UA may someday merge, or even announce one tomorrow, but you won’t hear about it first from a JB pilot.

You sounds kinda pretentious as if you’re better than the JetBlue pilots who could “just overnight” become United pilots while you had to suffer and play the game. You took and own any risk for giving up 4 yrs seniority to move onto another place. And if you merge and end up being junior to your former self, that’s life.
