That’s an important part of realistic training we receive in Denver—non-normals at near actual cabin altitudes.

Love TK. Houston never again.

I would have to assume a larger facility with more sims has greater bandwidth (for lack of a better word.)

UAL has spent a fortune updating and expanding TK to prepare for this.

When I was hired back in 98 we were at 100 a month if I recall.

I miss the frozen burritos in Houston. They tasted reasonable at sea level.

I did my 737 type at UAL in the old facility just over five years ago. Is it still there? I walked through some ancient classrooms. It was pretty cool.

It’s the ERJ175 training center for ExpressJet.

If you mean the one in Denver, yes. But it's also been heavily remodeled, upgraded, and expanded for huge $$$ since your visit.

The outside looks the same, the inside not so much.

I had to go through Guppy training as a new hire in Houston. It was the worst training that I have ever had at any airline, and I’m including Great Lakes. Glad to see that scab run training program is gone!!! The guppy training in TK still has the highest retrain rate of all of our types of airplanes though. So there is still a lot of work to be done.
