Guppy Headset/Bose Ufly
Wanted some advice/input on a Guppy headset. My 10 year old QC15 U-fly finally crapped out last year, and Ive been using a Telex-850 which is light but noisy and Bose A20 which is almost too quiet, and very Bulky, and clampy/heavy after 4 or 5 hours of wear.
I recall a EWR giving me crap on a LC about my QC15s not being TSO'd and made me wear an "ear-dick" which was horrible - almost unsafe, since i missed half the radio calls. I've since seen tons of guys use the Ufly/Bose setup, regardless!
My question is - Whats the best/newest Bose/Ufly set up and is it possible to get it TSO'd to prevent any problems down the road. I do commute and miss the dual function of my old QC15!
Thanks, in advance

Love mine too... easy to slide one side off to hear the other pilot if they don’t wear one or want to use hot mic. Its durable, light weight and quiet, but not so quiet I can’t hear the plane and/or aural warnings. ANR is great.

I just got the new version of the UflyMic
now the BoseQC 35II , Bluetooth And charges via a usb mini cord you can plug in where your iPad goes, unlike having to deal with batteries . It’s also TSO’d.
I’ve been using the telex 850 on the Airbus for about 8 years , but if you’re a commuter you get the best of both worlds without having to drop 1000 bucks .
Size wise it’s pretty much identical to what you had just 8 ish years newer tech
