Looks like the jumpseat order got changed.

This whole thing is a sht sandwich no matter which side you are on. I know that its easy to blame every SKW pilot, but y'all have to know that almost every pilot at SKW doesn't want to deny anyone a jumpseat.
Being ****ed and throwing pilots under the bus that genuinely want to help you get on their airplane is not cool and not professional. All these guys want to do is show up for work and fly an airplane, keep their noses clean and move onto a major. A lot of their dream jobs are at United and they don't want to be in the middle of this.
Get mad at SKW SAPA or the management, but please know that 95% of the pilots don't want to deny. And please don't post their names to the public on Facebook or send a letter to HR if they didn't even deny you.
The company has issued directives that basically tell these guys, do what we say or you face the possibility of termination. Well what do you want them to do? They can say I disagree with this but I have a family and can't get fired right now...
Trust me, most of the pilots disagree with denying jumpseats, and y'all are welcome on my jumpseat even it means I get terminated. But I don't have as much to lose as a lot of these guys and I understand not being able to directly violate a company manual. Especially since they are changing the FOM as we speak.
It sucks for everyone, but remember these guys are working a lot more than you guys at UAL for a lot less than half the money, and they just want to move on and live the life that you guys have. They don't want their dreams dashed because of a ****ing match. Just some food for thought.

So here is my question, genuine and not sarcastic in the least.
If a SkyWest captain takes a UA pilot on their JS and somehow gets fired for violating company policy....
Will UA pilots stand behind that pilot?
I’ll tell you right now that any pilot going against SAPA will be blacklisted from any LCA/Chief/Training positions which are needed so badly to get a UA interview.

How things turn on a dime. Not denying might be the quickest route to getting hired now.

You’re acting like it’s a personal problem. I’m not going to deny jumpseaters, but if it’s United flight and there are seats in the back and someone is just someone listed as a non-rev or even positive space then who cares. There isn’t an issue with that. Like the guys saying they’ll call the company and get a positive space seat and laugh in the crew’s face as they get a seat in back, um ok dude it’s not a personal problem.
Or the new hire that was forced into SFO and is commuting and now misses a reserve day. Then United covers a trip with senior man. Now you guys are affecting United’s bottom line.

hahah.... that’s laughable at best. you think compass is capable of handling all of the OO flying? They can barely handle their own flying. YX and OO are constantly covering flying from the other regionals due to staffing and whatever other problems, why do you think they’re still around.. UAL needs them more than any of you will admit

stop saying this is industry standard...its not. on DL a rah pilot would beat a delta pilot for an OO jumpseat by time of checkin, this is not the case at UAL. 9E goes above OO and RAH on DL because they are the largest DL regional and wholly owned, neither of which apply to any airline that beats me out of a united JS. as for AA it is OO pilots then TOC for everyone else because that is the priority AA gives us ( we are OAL so are they). and under NO OTHER JUMPSEAT AGREEMENT CAN A MAINLINE EMPLOYEE BUMP AN OWN METAL PILOT!!!!!! this is the case with the united version.

It is very personal when a Pilot is losing thousands of dollars, possibly over $10k if he misses a Captain widebody trip due to this issue. That affects home life, bills, etc.
