I don’t work for B6 nor do I or will I need to commute unless UA completely folds.

Your not wrong. I can and have voiced my opinion on the matter. At the end of the day I (as you) have to stand behind the larger group decision. I would do the same at United if I was on the other end, even though I don’t fully agree with the proposal. I just think it’s a crappy attitude to threaten people’s careers over something not in our control. Especially those of us who only have 3 stripes! That’s all I was saying.

Imagine if you had an FO rep and an actual vote on this stuff.

Skywest doesn’t really have a union and my guess is that all but a few lifers ignore any directive from their association. I’m positive space on a Republic flight today. I’m not expecting to be treated any differently than I have in the past.
Or check in and let them know you are seated in the back. If any one of them denies a guy a seat while he is positive space at the direction of United, this thing will be ended abruptly.

im going to throw out something that i have not seen discussed. the JS priority table shows "approved United personnel" ahead of OO, RAH, and Mesa pilots on own metal flights. if I walk up to a skywest flight as a skywest pilot and the UAL pilot knows someone in the training dept it seems i could get bumped. seems like this is a way for UA to get priority over own metal to me.

EDIT: trying to post image but unsure how to post a screenshot

I understand sending the Name to the jumpseat Committee so they can figure out the problem but threatening by sending it to HR, I would take that as a threat and also as extortion.
I’m sure TSA and other national security departments would love to hear how someone is using their status a “major airline pilot” to threaten a future job and scare a Captain to gain access to a flight deck.

Most "major airline pilots" already have all the access they need.
