No you don’t. You want priority on Delta, American, GoJet, Republic, Air Wisconsin, Commutair, Mesa, Trans States, and ExpressJet. You keep saying that its an FOM violation? Well you have been violating the FOM for years then because you have taken jumpseaters from United without an existing reciprocal agreement. We’ve never had a reciprocal agreement between United and Skywest. Never. Its “fake news” that there was one. Your group has REFUSED to even talk about the jumpseat for a year. We know why. Its too bad you can’t stand up to your management the way you stand up to other airline pilots.

You lose.

It was not known that there was never a reciprocal agreement between United and Skywest. Now it is known and I'm taking action.

All this talk of certificate action is silly. Unless your FOM specifically forbids certain airlines from occupying the jump-seat then how in the hell can one be violated for carrying a CASS approved and cleared jump-seater? Unions are not the feds and vice-versa. RP’s FOM has no such language written into it. This is purely union at RP and in no way regulatory and therefore punishable. It’s your seat Captains and if you feel the union is wrong it’s your decision.

There will be a published letter coming out. Apparently a POI was asked and he said all the FAA cares about are FARs and OPspecs and not jumpseat priority. Said that anyone in CASS is good for any jumpseat on a CASS carrier. The need for “reciprocal agreements” aren’t necessary with CASS, which is why UAL and Skywest never needed on before. They are only pre-arranged priority agreements.

Captains that fly for CASS enabled airlines that deny a CASS approved pilot are hiding behind some fake belief and are going to be held responsible for their personal rejection of another pilot for the jumpseat.

I never would have guessed......it’s incredible that anyone would believe the FAA would violate them. shame on people in positions of power to purposefully give out false information in order to scare them into complying with their agenda.

You say this yet those of us who have worked at one of those little known CASS airlines know you to be full of it here. Haha!

Actually the comments i am reading about it is that the POI that is coming out actually states it will be a violation. But then again, it either is or it is not, until it comes out it is pure speculation and furthers unnecessary dispute. Lets wait and see what will come, it's Sunday after all... How about them Steelers?

Unless you are familiar with the FOM from said companies then you have no clue. My FOM has always had the priority stated.
