IF the POI says do all you will with the JS pecking order, what do you plan to do? Go against SAPA? Lets say you get to UA and UAPA wants you to strike over the holiday season but its going to cost UA millions and passengers won't get to wherever for the holidays? What will you do?
A POI that say's "If you let a UA pilot jumpseat will get you violated" is a document that can turn this whole thread from threats of destroying my career to something that unites the pilot group.
A POI that states, "We don't care what you do", leaves the whole certificate action up to very loose interpretation., Until then, we have zero information from the company as the email is expected to come tomorrow according to the last communiqué from SAPA. Until then, i am doing nothing, since it's still the a long time to the 15th...

I guess you see the struggle with this situation, your doomed however you look at it.

Yes, we are always going to be subcontractors, regional scum if you will. Ideally take all the flying back. Rip the bandaid off like you said- make it happen overnight and I’ll happily fly a 170 that doesn’t say express on the side. Obviously that’s just a pipe dream. At least in the meantime we have a union that will stand up for us and not just let the status quo be taken away like everything else.

Completely false. ALPA cannot say that. You need to read up on labor laws.

Whatever the case is, a list should not be formed of any kind for sinister reasons especially if it’s because us Union member’s were following instructions from our Union. I disagree with how my Union leadership handled this. On the other hand, we have to understand that there are discussions, or non discussions, that did or didn’t take place. Most of us aren’t there for any of it. They can’t disclose everything to us to make a vote on weather or not we should or shouldn’t take action. So it’s best to trust them. If we find out they screwed us, we vote em out. Unless their appointed but that’s another story...
Funny thing is, many of us Union supporters over here at the Teamsters would be proud UALPA members. Unfortunately, I’ve heard discussions of keeping us out because we stood by our Brothers and Sisters. I sure hope that’s a small minority.

1. You ignore Management/Union and could/could not face FAA action and also go against your peers
2. You deny the jumpseat, and act in a bad way to your fellow pilots at other companies trying to go home/work. And possibly facing career hardship.
All for something you as a SkyWest/Republic/Mesa PILOT had nothing to do with. You didn't start it, you didn't want to get involved in it, yet you are stuck with it.
I don't agree with how this situation escalated, i don't know who's lying. I don't have enough information to make that determination. But we are a pilot group should not act in retaliation.
I personally will not ask for a jumpseat on a UA/UAX flight until this is resolved. If i am forced to deny someone the jumpseat i don't deserve to get it. However... I WOULD NEVER threaten someone else to ruin their career. I would never turn in any names.
