I don’t plan to deny anyone. I have said this numerous times. I personally don’t expect ALPA to ask us to stoop to that level but everything is on the table atm. I learned in the Navy to never say never.

There are some saying they won’t take any in response to this and the other end of the spectrum are pushing to get interviews for any Skywest or Republic pilots fired for carrying a UAL JSer. Who knows how extreme the response will be.

I can only say for sure that EVERY UAL pilot is aligned in squashing this by any means necessary. The consensus is that the tail has wagged the dog far too long.

I’m not going to lie Simpson if ALPA asks me to deny the jump seat I will.....sadly as I don’t think it is right. This action will never affect me as I live in base and will only ever commute on mainline. However I need to support my Brothers and sisters who live in Regional cities.

The major difference is that ALPA will flat out say SKW and RAH is to be denied, they won’t try to scare us by making up some BS FOM excuse to try and scare us into compliance. We also will not be giving you letters explaining to you why we are doing it and asking you to contact your reps like we are idiots. We will tell you to your face at the podium that you are not welcome.

Even though I do not agree with denying a pilot the jump seat the only way to fix the problem is there to be enough blood spilled. Once enough pain is felt this will be over with. Rip the bandaid off now and lets move on. The day ALPA says you are welcome again I will welcome you aboard with a smile regardless of the outcome.

Just to be clear Simpson ALL SKW and RAH pilots are welcome on my JS up until the day ALPA says otherwise. Even if you deny me tomorrow I will welcome you on my next flight.

ALPA would never do that.

XJT Pilots stand with you. Skywest tried to destroy and almost did because we were union.

LCCs expanding is great for competition. More UA regional pilots leaving to fly for your competitors will hurt bargaining power in the future for mainline pilots.

If ALPA says deny, it is a very sad day. And you should not do it. To participate in a denial is to stoop to their level. Only a SCAB gets denied in my world. You need to reject the temptation to retaliate. Because you are going to end up denying someone who probably got swept into this mess against their own will.
A jumpseat war should never be participated in. It's pilot on pilot fratricide that only delights management, and the likes of ICUROOK, BURT123, PILOTNICCO.
These types feed off this stuff. They don't belong in this industry.

Got it, so then is that different than the regional pilots denying a jumpseat to UA and UAX pilots because their unions told them to. And I'll beat you guys to it and say I know OO doesn't have a union so lets just say we're talking about YX.

What’s with all the blame on SkyWest? You chose to work for a failing company and your company is STILL failing. Delays/cancellations constantly. Although this does fit United’s overall operation so that must explain why XJT is a “preferred” carrier. UA LOVES the cheap labor.

No it’s not. I don’t hold anything against a SKW pilot denying me a JS at the direction of their.....group leader?

My problem is they went from zero to 1000 in half a second. Like I said you are welcome on my jump seat I’m not denying until I’m told otherwise.
