First of all, that isn't the same, and you know it. Flying one paint exclusively is not the same as being a wholly owned subsidiary. If you don't think that's an important distinction, I get it, fine. But it literally isn't the same thing.

Second, that isn't even the new priority order in its entirety.

The priority, on an express flight, as now dictated by United is as follows:

1. Own metal
2. United Mainline (you left that huge change out)
3. UAX exclusive
4. UAX Non-Exclusive
5. OAL and those who don't bend the knee

Vs. the previous, on an express flight

1. Own metal
2. Mainline and Express, TOC
3. OAL
(Notably this differs from the non-rev priority)

Example, on a SkyWest operated Delta flight, mainline won't get priority in the jump over a Republic guy. They're both above OAL and below own metal. Just depends on TOC.

No worries, I usually go to great lengths to avoid riding on XJT due to their consistent massively delayed/cancelled flights for lack of crew and god knows what else. Then I have to sit crammed in a ****ty 145 and hear constant b@tching about how miserable the company is to work for. Thanks though, I appreciate the offer, but I’ll rent a car.

It’s hard to imagine why a guy with such a wonderful attitude is stuck flying for a regional.

/sarcasm off

You seem to be saying that nothing was in writing and if there was no agreement then we shouldn't have been flying in each other's jumpseats all these years - correct?
Oh? You guys have a document signed by United in your FOM with an agreement between the 2 companies stating what the priorities will be for the jumpseat? I've seen what was in writing and the only thing I've seen is that United and Skywest agree they can ride each other's jumpseats. There is no signed agreement as to what the priorities will be. Have fun with the fight you picked with several ALPA carriers. The Skywest student council may have finally stepped on a big enough piece of their d*ck to finally tip over it this time. Hopefully you'll get a real union soon.

The flight is over sold so he bails early and heads over to the AA eagle flight.

He sitting at the gate when that same SKW pilot comes walking up, the UA flight is delayed 2 hours for weather. The SKW pilot says hey I’m an eagle pilot and so he goes above the UA guy. UA guy sighs.....another oversold flight so he bails and heads to the DL mainline flight.

Next thing he knows the same SKW JS shows up, looks at the United guy and says AA canceled.....hell of a night huh? He walks up to the counter and says hi I’m Delta connection so he is now once again ahead of the UA pilot.

****ed off the UA pilot heads back to the delayed UA RAH flight because surely he has some sort of priority on his own airline.....right? Well now DL throws out an 18hr delay and guess who comes walking up? The SKW pilot and he still has priority on UA because he checked in first and is United Express. @$&!......

The UA pilot gives up and accepts the fact he will miss Christmas with his family. He asks the SKW pilot if he is going to work or going home. The SKW pilot states he is based in DTW doing Delta flying and this is his first trip at SKW.......The UA pilot realizes that something needs to change. The fact that a pilot with 2 months seniority at a regional airline trumps his 35 years at United and the pilot is going out to fly a Delta trip is total BS. Not only that he got beat on AA too!!!
The biggest problem I see is, why is there a 35 year pilot at UAL working on Christmas Eve?

The document you're referring to, I agree, doesn't seem to specify the priority details of the agreement. But the following document, which seems to have been made by UALPA, details the priorities. Does it have a signature on it? Not as far as I can tell. Is that your sole argument though? If this wasn't the agreement, why was it done this ways for years?

If you're just using the signature (or lack thereof) as a way to rationalize your side of the disagreement, I guess that's fair. But we both know what the agreement really was, so why play games?

Edit: OOoooofff. APC really sucks with attachments, sorry that's so small. If you aren't familiar with this document, I can try to figure out a way to link a better version.

Because he is a 777 CA that went from 15% to 60% due to displacements

Yeah, I've seen that document and used to have a copy of it. I don't remember anything on it that said it was an agreement between United and the other airlines. Skywest pilots keep pointing out that United broke their jumpseat agreement with Skywest but the only agreement I've ever seen is the one that allows the two airlines to use each other's jumpseats. I don't see how you can't understand why United would want to give priority to airlines that are exclusively flying for United? I'd be willing to bet a lot of money this isn't going to go SAPA's way but good luck.
