Yes. It’s not perfect. But there is only one airline that I’m aware of with better scope (SWA). There cannot be outsourced RJs.

Let's see, your management makes the lowest bid. You vote for the contract you work under. In other words, your pay rates, your problem. B scale does not transcend over multiple airlines.

So you want to fly 50 seaters and do 20+ leg four days? And do you really think management is going to be willing to pay mainline rates for that flying?

Forget the contract they vote on...whose contract allows the flying to be outsourced in the first place?

That’s great! Not so easy here. We would have to strike, which the government ain’t gonna allow. I’m game if the opportunity arises.

I gather you didn't follow our bankruptcy did you? You might want to educate yourself. Sold implies receiving something in return. You couldn't be further from the truth.

You should see our Airbus pairings. I could probably produce an old RJ pairing that would match exactly the flying we are doing on that fleet now.

Shortsighted, folks.

You're going to give me a letter and deny me the jumpseat, because you don't have a union that negotiates on your behalf but you've got a quasi-union committee that wants to unilaterally deny me your jumpseat?!

That's rich.

Here's what's going to happen:

First and foremost, you are always, unless you're a ******* scab, welcome in my cockpit. You can eat my meal and I'll make sure there's room for your luggage. Please come ride on my 757.

I'm going to get to work eventually anyway, probably PS on your flight when I call CS and tell them I've missed my first flight. Our mutual customer or one of our or your fellow employees will lose out if you'r full.

I won't yell and scream. I'm not going to even take your letter. I'm going to politely note your name and wish you a good day.

I'm going to PDR it with my union.

I'll still get to work. You're only going to hurt yourself.
