Looks like the jumpseat order got changed.

One thing you all probably didn’t know about YX’s contract. YX is owned by UAL, DL and AA. Our contract with United is such that one owner cannot act on its own without approval of the others. UAL dropping YX would also hurt the DL and AA bottom line and as such, would not be approved by the other two.

Colors are really starting to show? Get real! Maybe 4-6 out of 13000 total UA guys are on here stirring the crap and you’re going to paint us all with that broad of a brush? But at the same time we shouldn’t paint SKW or RAH guys with a broad brush due to the select few using the jumpseat as a weapon? You’re going to also base a career destination on hubris from APC? Boy oh boy do you have some growing up to do before it’s time to move on and upwards.

I don’t combine forum life and real life. But Indeed have seen not so pretty personalities up close. But those exist every where. But this ‘take the name and emp # down and send to whoever might hire those guys’ when you’re denied the jump seat because there isn’t an agreement, not sure what to say about that.
I honor the guys who will respectfully take jumpseater on the ‘ do not take list’ because I don’t have rocks up my rear.

***UPDATE***
UAL MEC has said to document via PDR not only those Skywest/Republic flights and crews that deny the jumpseat, but more importantly to ALSO document those that chose to take the high road and take a jumpseater.
Take that information for what you will.
Oh by the way everything you’ve been told by your SAPA.... person, is patently false/lies.

Update from ALPA just came out.
Not sure the SAPA Jumpseat deniers even deserve to read it. But basically the facts stand. Skywest republic and Mesa didn’t sign the agreements. Skywest and republic are actively denying jumpseats albeit on a relatively low number considering we have 13000+ mainline pilots.
The Jumpseat agreement is signed by UAL management and the respective carriers management. ALPA, IBT and the boy scouts association of Skywest pilots don’t even sign these agreements.
UALALPA asks United pilots to take all jumpseats and not pit pilots against pilots. Take the high road. Maybe Skywest and republic can learn a thing or two.
Carrier, date, flight number and names of those who both deny and accept jumpseaters is being asked for, and it is being tracked by ALPA as well as United Management.
Right there should be an extreme incentive for any Skywest or Republic pilot to not deny a jumpseater.
It was also stated as a fact that it is not a violation of FARs to accept a UAL/UAX jumpseater.
So basically you guys have no leg to stand on, as has been beaten to death in nearly 110 pages. Time to grow up and show your Jumpseat folks the door as they are guiding you guys down not just a slippery slope, but a avalanche chute with massive jagged rocks below.

Just got an email from ALPA I won’t post it but I’m sure someone will....
Basically ALPA is taking the high road, so all of you are welcome on my Jump Seat as long as you keep it professional.
They also say it’s not an FOM violation to take United Jump Seaters......where did your “leaders” come up with this crap? And why do you believe it?
They also told us to collect the names of the deniers AND those who are real CAPTAINS and don’t use the JS as a weapon. So take that for what it’s worth.
They said we have only had a handful of denials so it appears the larger group at SKW and RAH are not in agreement with the denial demand.
So what do you all say we just end the childish antics before somebody gets fired or a career gets ruined?

Just got the MEC update and it's reassuring to hear that "only a small handful of pilots were affected today"
Obviously one is too many, but glad that it sounds like the vast majority of SkyWest pilots
realize that it's not an FAR violation to carry a CASS approved UAL pilot
and are welcoming them on their jumpseats, as I am with SkyWest pilots in return.
Also great to hear that ALPA is recommending UAL crews forward the SkyWest/Republic crew's name
to the UAL crew's chief pilots as being professionals for carrying the UAL crewmember.

Yep. Still asking us to take the high ground and take you guys despite
“ a series of petulant communications that disregard the facts, pilot representatives at Republic and SkyWest (IBT and SAPA) have encouraged their pilots to start denying United pilots the jumpseat. These letters are filled with misleading and inaccurate information intended to harm pilots and operations at both UA and UAX. ALPA and UA management are tracking these denials for action.”
So you’re still welcome on our JS as I’ve always said. UA management is on it and wants names affecting their operations.
I admit I was wrong. It’s not an agreement signed by the UAL MEC and your groups. The JS agreement is signed by UA management and UAX management. So it’s much worse than you guys imagined.
