Only assuming he doesn’t, but with the high number of commuters here, I’d say it’s a good guess that most of those 13k+ guys don’t drive to work.
Even as someone who lives here, the thought of only 6 days guaranteed off and short call after short call isn’t appetizing. My 17 day off M-Th line pays not appreciably less than reserve guarantee on a WB, and the stress of not sitting at home with my bag packed is worth that. And, like you’re getting at, we all have different priorities.
Maybe we’ll make reserve better?

Along the same lines, I'm curious why about 8 folks chose to transfer 737 bases to SFO through this vacancy bid? If they had done a base trade they could have paroled a few of us trying to get out of this socialist paradise...

Selfish aren't they. Maybe a Boeing lawsuit is due to lack of "73" advancement and mobility. Not to worry, our Lord Emperor will soon wipe that socialist grin right off their face.
