Contract 202[?]
From today's NC update:
"While we are closer (to an agreement on Section 1) than we were at the start of the IBB process, we have not yet found enough common ground beyond a mutual interest in the long-term success of United Airlines and its pilots. We will continue to explore viable pathways forward to complete negotiations and present more options to the MEC...However, we do not expect to have anything further to report on the rest of the UPA until we find a breakthrough to Section 1."
Hey, at least they got us 2/3 of the way through summer before dropping the news that we're nowhere with no breakthrough on the horizon.

Anyone who's shocked that scope is one of the last issues on the table either hasn't played this game before, or doesn't pay attention.
I wish someone knew why these updates were put out when there's no real progress to report: All quiet on the Wacker front.

It funny that the Company has violated the very section that they are seeking relief on. That in and of itself should be a huge red flag to any of us that don’t think scope is not that big of a deal.

If sarcasm was intended, I apologize. There are always folks who don’t even know their Alpa number, aren’t subscribed to email updates and never attend a local meeting. Those folks are always squawking about “no comm” from the Union.
