Delta guys wear purple? NO. They still wear a pilot uniform. Not sure why we have to look like our FA's. What a waste of money...

They wanted 6 different ties and the best money can buy. This was an ALPA creation. Much like the zebra is a horse designed by committee our trial uniform was a zebra.
Call your rep and ask if we can change the design and if we came up with it. Besides the fashion statement, I see you understand why ALPA is involved. I bolded the important parts.

I cannot fathom how someone thinks the company will make us a better fitting, higher quality uniform, that looks like we want it to, without our input. Have you seen our crew meals? These are the people who stole our pensions! yuck.

What are jorts? It sounds goofy so it’s probably accurate for appropriate pilot wear.

Please go on. What other "even worse ideas" has ALPA thwarted?

The color is one thing....but the colors are being shoved down our throats.

ALPA gets to pick from Barney Purple, or Barney Frank Pernurple.

Gee...What a choice.

Lose if we pick Dinosour Barney purple

Lose if we pick Barney Frank pernurple.

Am I missing the upside?

Gofer on the love boat had those. I think since we are bringing back the star trek uniforms for FA's we should bring back the love boat uniforms for the pilots. They look comfie. Plus, Captain Stubbing looked sharp!

Get the ladies man from Saturday Night Live to pimp out Isaac's ensamble and we are smoking!

All wear testing to take place in Guam. Don't ask and Don't tell. What happens in Guam stays in Guam.
