Nose numbers for UAL Max's for commuters
Anyone have a list of all nose numbers. The UAL app is not reliable for giving the correct 737 that is being flown. I believe it does say 737 MAX if it is annotated on the app?
I have a -900 i'm suppose to commute on today, so want to make sure of zero surprises. Thanks!

Are you kidding me? You have no idea what you are talking about - Ethiopian had a very safe record. This is not just a training issue - it is in fact a regulatory issue and FAA and Boeing are complicit. The very idea that an aircraft can have a flight control enhancement that is not in the FM or procedures or ever even mentioned to the operators is deemed as okay? Are you sure you're a pilot?

Politicians on both sides are calling for grounding the fleet while not even knowing what a Max looks like. Knee jerk stupidity isn’t limited to a single party, but it sure seems to thrive in politics and the media. American, Southwest, and United have logged thousands of Max hours with no problems. The two crashes were by a carrier who was banned from even operating in the EU for years and another with a low time captain and a 200 hour f/o. I’m sure the 321neo is a nicer machine, but there’s nothing dangerous about the max.
As for the MAX and the FAA, why did they allow the continuation of a common type but told SWA that they will not allow the MAX online till the -300’s were gone? The FAA says....different enough but we’ll allow it for you.

Exactly. It doesn’t matter which way you lean politically. We should listen to the experts in any situation. This president ignores the Intellegence Community, Scientists, and now the experts at the FAA, among many others. This is a serious problem, no matter what your political leanings, and no matter what you think about the 737 being grounded.

No matter the wait, we ought to do just that. Delta and American have split narrowbody orders, and are way better suited then us. Not to mention neither one of them was dumb enough to be the launch customer for the max10.

And we know that a single channel AOA failure will result in a false stall condition being sensed, resulting in MCAS running the trim forward.
So, the stall warning is going off, the shaker is shaking and the GPWS is screaming. You've got unreliable airspeed and anywhere from 75 to 120 pounds of forward yoke pressure.
Once past the startle effect, you find a third hand to reach over and hit the pitch trim cutout switches.
Now, one of us is going to have to deploy the little handle and trim
against excessive air loads while we keep the airplane from diving into the ground.
Perfectly safe airplane, I'm sure you'd have no problem handling it.

I can get over grounding the max for a bit. But what I can’t get over is the FAA. Stop being so concerned about checking my medical/license and all the other bull**** things and next time there is a secret flight control change made, don’t sign off on it and don’t tell us about it! These inspectors involved should be fired!!!
