Yes but are you one of illustrious types who use MAX braking there? Ridiculously uncomfortable for the pax and the slingshot effect when you kick them off adds another 200' to your landing roll.

Flaps 30, brakes 3 all day long in either 737 at SNA.

I'm failing to understand the physics of this.

Kicking off MAX braking results in an immediate release of the applied braking force. The aircraft lurches forward as it was decelerating and is now at a lower brake application. 200' might be a stretch but it definitely feels like it. Only way to overcome it is to mash on the brakes as hard as you can while in MAX braking which subjects humans in back to an even more uncomfortable ride.

Try it out and see, your passengers will love you !!

And probably completely understand your choice to do it, if that’s the choice you make.

Of course, if you really want to do that just don’t post at all.

No I find Max is way overkill, brakes 3 works fine.

But make sure you are in max rev thrust, then quickly stow the reversers while the engines are still spooled. (Sorry, and pet peeve of mine.)

Me too.

Max brakes can be released (relatively) smoothly by applying more braking force manually then tapering it off.

If someone is dumb enough for to be kicking off the brakes by stowing the speed brakes, then I can’t help them.
