I’m sure Apple would be glad to assist in finding the device and the person that posted that banner.
Who actually uses the truck stop bathroom downstairs to get a feel for the TP? Always too packed with rampers and kitchen staff showering and crapping all over the place.

Seriously though, I don’t know what “internal use” would come from putting this stuff on display.

The company puts up banners with the obvious disclaimer it was for internal use and some knob has to get it into the social media ASAP. This is why we can’t have nice things.

What better tool for our competitors to take that information and negotiate those corporations away from us. So when the second PVG goes away and other flying dries up, I only hope the moron that posted this photo gets whacked or displaced to 737 reserve in EWR when SFO shrinks.
Here’s the thing who is to say that a pilot, or even a ual employee posted the pic? How many people outside the company pass through the crew room? Vendors, cleaners, etc. If this data is so sensitive then it shouldn’t be placed on a poster.

If anything, this incident makes a strong argument for bringing back recurrent ground school, charm school, fuel school, what have you. Those were always great opportunities for the company to pass along quasi-secrets in secure environment.

It is highly sensitive, confidential information that has damaged our reputation with our customers and provided our competitors an opportunity to hurt us in the marketplace. The person that approved the banner and the person that took photos of it and released them should be terminated. The SFO to PVG is a giant cash generating machine thanks to Apple. Anybody endangering that relationship and what it brings to our bottom line shouldn't be trusted to work here.

Yep, why this was put on a banner is the question. As a Pilot it does not help me do my job any better. I have no idea when I walk on the plane if the guy seated in 2b is with Apple, Microsoft or is a Russian spy. The guy who took the picture is an idiot but MGT. should know better.

So your argument is pilots can’t be trusted? Pilots love to brag about how brilliant they are compared to other employees. But yet they can’t be trusted to not post sensitive information to social media.

Rumor is the service scores are really low in SFO. Perhaps those boards were to make the SFO pilots aware of how much revenue is in the cabin. We are in the service industry and while we move the jet from A to B, how we as pilots interact with the customers does have an impact. When you forget you are in the service industry you breed the mindset that can have serious negative effect on the bottom line.
