Sadly, that last part of the argument has been proven to not always be true...

Which only makes iron clad scope more important. UAL has shown it is MORE than happy to park a large part of the fleet in down times

Relax, he wasn’t making a joke about you. He was making a joke about how every year it’s the same thing...I found his responses funny, on par with “living the dream” videos.

If you earned money you get PS.

earnings are out and the profit sharing total dollars for 2018 were 343 Million. The total for 2017 was 349 Million.

So, unless other work groups had wild changes in how they participate in Profit Sharing, looks like about the same in 2018 as it was in 2017. That would mean right about 6 %

About 4.3% less so 5.858% of eligible earnings if its linear. Do not forget to take out last year's PS check when calculating eligible earnings.

Bottom line: our PS checks are inversely proportional to the cost of jet fuel. Everything else is small potatoes.

Admittedly lazy, but due to new baby and being sick...

UA says it only made $334 million? For the entire 2018 year? I was under the impression that there was criteria that excluded projected losses (Hong Kong route) and such that did not affect the PS in the end.

Seems really low based on our performance for the year.
