Nope!
So I believe the numbers look like this for Highest paying aircraft banded
DAL
777 - 18
350 - 11 (14 more on order)
UAL
777 - 92
787 - 39 (25 more on order)
764 - 16
So, in the top pay band they have 29 aircraft and UAL has 147. Now DAL does get 2 CAPs on a good portion of the flying those 29 planes do and UAL only gets 2 CAPs on a few of our flights, but obviously UAL still has way more CAPs on the highest pay scale than DAL.
Delta does then have a pay band below the top for 764s and A330s, that is still above what we pay (and they pay) for the 763s.
In that band they have:
764 - 21
330 - 42
So, in their top two pay bands they have 92 aircraft, UAL has 147 (no second pay band for Large UAL). The 2 CAPs per flight on most of the 777/A350 flights still won't cover that difference. So even if you include the top two pay bands at DAL they would still have less CAPs than we have in the top scale at UAL.
If you include the 763 fleet you get to 148 total aircraft for DAL to 185 for UAL.
So, DAL is kicking our Arse because of
Now what should really scare us all is that I think our JV protections suck! Lufthansa has 34 flights between Germany and the US while we have just 15!! But I guarantee that UA Mgmt wants to get ours to look more like DAL's. We need to improve ours and get DAL to improve theirs so that we can all enjoy more widebodies coming to both our operations.
We all see Mgmts at the US carriers are on our side against the ME3 and the flag of convenience carriers, but that is only because they can't get away with it themselves! If they could they would gut every restriction they have in our contracts and in the law and outsource all of us tomorrow!

Good info. I’m really curious what United’s breakdown would be. Thanks for posting.
