First, this is one of the dumbest statements I've seen on here in awhile, and that's saying something. Second, how do you know he's not married and/or has kids?

Most people would kill to get hired here, it's the best pilot job in the world, IMHO. I'm a SWM and I've pretty much gotten every job I've ever had by a combo of hard work, harder networking, and dumb luck. I took care of my family by running around networking/volunteering...it helped me become a UAL pilot. Give it a rest.

I missed the part where he said anything about this mystery individual. Other than that I agree with your post. Part of taking care of your family is networking to get a better job. To what level you are willing to do that is unique to each persons desires. I’ve seen single dudes and gals spend 10+ year as RJ fos because their priorities lied in QOL. I also saw a guy from my regional at WIA a couple years ago who had 5 kids under 5. If it’s a priority for you you’ll jump through the hoops.

He's responding to a nonsensical post about three back by someone (and this is a guess, because thats how bad the writing was) who said he can't go to job fairs all day to make 'HR' happy.
