Default ATT International Plan

Any recommendation on international calling plans? I’m with ATT.

Thanks.

I had ATT in the past. T-Mobile has the best international plan. If Tmobile works well where you live I'd highly recommend them for the international plan.

If you have an iPhone, go into Settings under Cellular and enable WiFi-Calling on This Phone. This allows free calling anywhere you’ve got a WiFi signal without roaming or international charges as long as cellular data is turned off or its otherwise in airplane mode. I’ve been told you can even make and receive calls normally at 35,000 feet.

Unlimited international data with Tmobile. I have four phones on the unlimited international data plan. $130 per month. This means you can make FaceTime audio calls that aren’t dependant on being connected to WiFi.

No other carrier can best Tmobile’s Rate plan. And they’ll buy you out of your current contract with att if you still have one.

I have AT&T Mobility. It works great everywhere I travel. I went online and signed up for an International $10 per day unlimited talk and data plan. Very happy with the service and never have had a problem.

Our T-mobile iPads get extremely slow in SIN, NRT, PVG, LHR, and HKG. I shut off the Cellular Data on the ipad and Personal Hotspot my iPhone with AT&T and it downloads data to ipad very fast.

Same here. The Att Mobility gives you your entire domestic plan internationally. It auto initializes so it may start when you’re near the Canadian border but not across. Call for a refund. I believe Mexico is considered domestic.

$10 per day plus monthly fees. 10-12 days on international layovers will add over $100 to the monthly bill, screw that.

Using your own data plan to connect the company device, uhhhhh, seriously?

If you or your spouse (or even a parent/sibling) are 55 or over, the $70 a month for 2 lines can't be beat. Don't need 2 lines, 1 is $50.
Both options are actually $5 more a month, but there's a $5 discount if you set up an automatic payment. I've used it in numerous countries and at home and it works great!

If all you do is international ATT not a good deal. But for mostly domestic occasional international it’s pretty convenient. Agree with not using it for the company iPad.
