Am I the only one that is getting embarrassed by how some of our pilots represent the rest of us on a few of these threads? I know I am no saint on here from time to time but this is getting pathetic recently.

Lol, my response would be, "I totally agree. This seat should be yours. I recommend you vote to take back your flying." We do the same job, get paid nothing compared to ya'll. Down at the regionals, we gotta save up to be poor! But dont worry, we'll keep building our time in your planes with your pax so one day we can have what it takes to fly your planes with your pax.
I'd love to see you hold on scope, or take some back. But there always seems to be some carrot big enough to get 51% vote more away....

Then there's the fact that the largest regional is non-union, and one of the lowest paid. They do fly a huge chunk of United Express flying (possibly more than any other regional carrier does). Also, they are probably the UAX carrier with the least amount of staffing issues. All of that doesn't exactly help the rest of us compete to get better contracts.
Unfortunately, this mess was created by people other than the regional pilots (with whom blame is often placed). Multiple regionals were formed and they whipsawed pilot groups against each other for YEARS. By design, the companies were created to undercut each other. Case in point: my company created another certificate to circumvent ALPA and our pilot group's attempts to hold the line and fight for a better contract.

Or;
2) You were NEVER at a regional, especially through the dark decade.
As evidenced but your post above, you don’t have a grasp of the 2nd/3rd removed level that regionals have to operate under/negotiate against.

That 4.5% growth isn't just mainline growth according to Michael McCasky. Growth of UA partners is included in that number. Mainline growth is in the neighborhood of 3% growth.
