I’m just going to use some numbers for example. United is looking to fill spots for next 6 months. HR invited 600 of us to the two day event. We were told we are the ones they want. 600 candidates over 6 months. That’s 25 a week, 100 a month, 600 in 6 months.
I heard “be patient” over and over at the expo.

FWIW, that’s roughly the hiring numbers that I was just told by a friend at the training center.
ALL training center rumors are suspect, but they actually seem to be planning for this scenerio. All subject to change, of course, at the next daily long-term planning meeting.

Actually 550 showed. Bare in mind people will fail hogan, let’s say 20% (don’t wish that on anyone btw but being realistic from what I’ve heard). Now you’re at 440. Some may go elsewhere before or after interview (hr has to account for that possibility), then is say you’re down to about 300 and that’s assuming everyone did well.
