- pool is very low.
-new classes announced and they aren’t already filled by pool.
- update app within every 6 months.
- medical and passport updated
- upgrade around 5 years.
- fill out addendum and be sure it’s 100% correct especially regarding check rides , dui etc.
- looking for well rounded individuals from what I could tell, people that are involved in the company besides flying.
- GPA > 3.0
- no points deducted for check ride busts but be truthful.
- big order book
- big vacancies currently SFO / EWR likely on 737/320 and maybe 756 SFO

Did they say anything about the number of furloughed pilots still on that list? First of this year the statement was, “less than 250”. I know some number have come back. If memory serves, their time runs out sometime in 2019.

Is that a hard number filtered by the computer algorithm? An engineering or physics 2.9 is different than a basketweaving degree with a 3.9

They mentioned that furlough pilots have till November 2019 to return to property. I don’t recall a particular number of pilots being mentioned.

In addition, the “drop dead” date for recall is 10-year from date of furlough. Thus, the remaining furloughed pilots will be timing out monthly between now and November 2019.

Considering that pilots furloughed in 2009 can now hold narrowbody CA, it seems likely that those that really want to return have mostly already returned.

I think they mentioned there’s a few per class and then beyond that the commitments they have to commutair etc which Idk what the percentages are.

At the fair they kept emphasizing you were invited and” if you’re successful today “, I took that to mean that people were actively being selected that day for interview...thoughts?
